I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about helping people heal from trauma and reclaim their sense of safety, strength, and self-worth. I earned my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a specialty in trauma, from Walden University.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each individual. I integrate techniques from Gestalt therapy, somatic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and person-centered therapy to help patients process experiences, reconnect with their bodies, and develop healthier patterns for moving forward. I also incorporate Animal Assisted Psychotherapy, recognizing the powerful comfort and connection animals can bring to the therapeutic process. My 10 year old dog Gracie accompanies me to the office.
